Pyrmont Castle is 1.7 km away. At the foot of its hill is the Pyrmont Mill, where you can stop for a bite to eat on the mill terrace with a view of the beautiful waterfall on beautiful summer days. One of the most famous castles is Eltz Castle. It can be reached on foot in around two hours (5.3 km). It is a hilltop castle from the 12th century and is probably the most famous of its kind. It is definitely worth a visit. A tour is possible and definitely worth a visit.

There are also several dream trails in the immediate vicinity. These include the Eltzer Burgpanorama Weg, the Nette Schieferpfad and many others in the Eifel and also around and in the beautiful Moselle valley. Hikers and cyclists will find the ideal starting point for many interesting tours here.
