Hatzenport to Münstermaifeld: Continuous ascent through the Schrumpftal valley, mills on both sides, road guidance, first forest, then some meadows and pastures and shortly before Münstermaifeld the expanse of the Maifeld begins. Münstermaifeld with its old town and refreshment stops.
Münstermaifeld to Pillig: The route leads there and back via Münsterplatz. After Münstermaifeld, there is a small section of the Maifeld cycle path, between Naunheim and Pillig along the country road
Detour Pillig to Pyrmonter Mühle: Shortly after Pillig, the route enters the Elzbachtal valley, very steep but only for a short time (also downhill, push if possible). The waterfall, the Pyrmonter Mühle mill with restaurants and overnight accommodation. The view of the castle is very rewarding. The way back is steep, but it only takes about 7 minutes to push comfortably.
Pillig to Münstermaifeld: Via Sevenich, through the middle of agricultural land. Here you can experience the vastness of the Maifeld in particular, depending on the season, rape blossom. Münstermaifeld is always in view.
Münstermaifeld to Hatzenport: Once you have reached the Münsterplatz again, it is all downhill. Behind Münstermaifeld, view of the Moselle heights. Mörz artists' village with refreshment stop.
